Who is this course for?

   The NRA basic metallic cartridge reloading course exposes students to the fundamentals of metallic cartridge reloading. The course is designed to enable shooters with little or no prior experience in reloading to acquire  the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude to produce safe, consistent and accurate reloaded ammunition.

What can you expect?

   In this course students will learn how ammunition works. They will learn how to safely clean, prepare and reload metallic cartridges. They will learn how to use reloading manuals and learn the different types of reloading equipment, including, scales, case conditioning tools, powder measures, cleaners, single stage and progressive presses.

   Students will then load their own sample ammunition and discharge that ammunition under the supervision of a certified NRA instructor on the range to see the results of their effort.

   There will be a written test at the end of this course.
